There are more jokes about Lutherans and their coffee than you can probably imagine. Not to add to that lore, but fellowship at Ascension of Christ frequently involves that “divine” beverage. Foremost, each Sunday after the service, we gather in the fellowship hall for a sometimes lengthy sharing of coffee, treats and good Christian fellowship. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!

In addition to Sunday morning coffee hour, Ascension of Christ hosts several fellowship events throughout the year, such as an annual picnic, euchre tournament, chili cook-off, Trunk-or-Treat and others. We have softball teams for both men and women, and there is also an active seniors group, and they enjoy everything from cards to a day on the lake to an outing to Frankenmuth for lunch and shopping.
